Introduction
A leading fashion retailer is seeking an Admin Controller to join their team at the Lady Grey Street store in Paarl. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient administrative operations, supporting store management, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all administrative functions within the store, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in managing payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Assist in preparing reports for management, including sales, inventory, and employee performance metrics.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of store-related paperwork, such as invoices, contracts, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate communication between departments, including sales, human resources, and finance.
- Support the Store Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to administrative processes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor office supplies and equipment, ensuring the store is well-equipped for daily operations.
- Assist with training new staff on administrative procedures and software systems.
Education Profile
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a retail or fashion environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and retail management software.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and record-keeping practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
