Description
As a Replenishment Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the planning and supply chain process - analysing sales trends, forecasting demand, and ensuring stores are optimally stocked to meet customer needs. You’ll work closely with planning, operations, and logistics teams to balance supply and demand, streamline inventory flow, and support business growth through smart, data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise inventory levels across distribution channels to ensure availability while minimising excess stock
- Develop demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and promotional activity
- Set and maintain model stock levels that align with business objectives
- Generate accurate order quantities for suppliers and manage replenishment plans
- Monitor performance metrics such as service level, forecast accuracy, and stock turn
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to guide replenishment and inventory decisions
- Collaborate with buying, planning, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow
- Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, system inefficiencies, and supply chain challenges
- Support continuous improvement projects and contribute to system enhancements within the replenishment and planning function
Education Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in replenishment, demand forecasting, or inventory planning (retail or FMCG environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory optimisation, and retail operations
- Proficiency in advanced spreadsheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker Studio or similar)
- Experience with replenishment systems such as JDA, Oracle, or similar ERP/MRP tools
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into practical solutions
