Introduction
We are looking for a customer-focused Beauty Adviser to provide expert skincare and beauty advice, drive product sales, and maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked beauty counter.
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional beauty consultations and product recommendations based on customers’ skin types, preferences, and needs.
- Actively promote and sell skincare, fragrance, and cosmetic products to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Demonstrate and apply products to customers when required to enhance the shopping experience.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Ensure the beauty counter or department is clean, well merchandised, and stocked according to company standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Participate in promotional events, product launches, and in-store demonstrations.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, beauty trends, and new product ranges.
- Process sales transactions and assist with cash handling when required.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints professionally.
- Adhere to company policies, retail procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Reporting to: Store Manager / Counter Manager
Education Profile
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Qualification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or related field (advantageous).
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in retail beauty, cosmetics, or skincare sales.
- Strong knowledge of skincare, makeup, and fragrance products.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
