Introduction

We are looking for a customer-focused Beauty Adviser to provide expert skincare and beauty advice, drive product sales, and maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked beauty counter.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional beauty consultations and product recommendations based on customers’ skin types, preferences, and needs.
  • Actively promote and sell skincare, fragrance, and cosmetic products to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
  • Demonstrate and apply products to customers when required to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Ensure the beauty counter or department is clean, well merchandised, and stocked according to company standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in promotional events, product launches, and in-store demonstrations.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, beauty trends, and new product ranges.
  • Process sales transactions and assist with cash handling when required.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints professionally.
  • Adhere to company policies, retail procedures, and hygiene standards.
  • Reporting to: Store Manager / Counter Manager

Education Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Qualification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or related field (advantageous).
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in retail beauty, cosmetics, or skincare sales.
  • Strong knowledge of skincare, makeup, and fragrance products.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
