Introduction
The role of the brand manager would be to drive strategic marketing initiatives alongside the product strategy that elevates our brand, strengthens customer connections, and fuels business growth. The role blends collabs, activations, and customer insights with a strong commercial focus-ensuring our campaigns not only inspire but also deliver results.

Role and Responsibilities:
Running point on customer experience planning and brand campaigns, special projects, and consumer research to refine our positioning and deepen our impact in the market.
Experienced in brand strategy and digital / print marketing with a strong background in developing and executing comprehensive omni-channel marketing & content strategies. A keen eye for emerging industry trends. Passionate about creating and implementing innovative marketing solutions to achieve brand objectives and engage audiences effectively with a proven track record of enhancing brand presence and driving business growth through digital and in-store channels.
• Build and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive key business objectives.
• Stakeholder engagement across senior management, merchants, creative, production, VM and e-commerce.
• Planning and Execution of Marketing Plan
• Compiling and executing briefs.
• Managing suppliers and negotiating pricing
• Merchant Liaison and Calendar Planning
• Reporting
• Budget preparation
• Marketing strategies for each financial year and season
• Work in collaboration with our marketing agency
• Ability and proven track record to work across print and digital
• Print marketing includes the in-store marketing wrap across all grades and stores within the business. Develop strategies to enhance this within budget and put forward new strategies for enhancements as we grow across each grade, working in collaboration with VM.
Education Profile
Qualification and Experience:
• Grade 12 (essential)
• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, or related field
• Relevant certifications in digital marketing or brand strategy (advantageous but not essential)
• 3-5 years’ experience in brand management, marketing coordination, or integrated marketing roles
• Proven experience supporting or leading multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, in-store)
• Exposure to retail marketing environments and Understanding of retail in-store marketing execution
• Experience working with marketing agencies and suppliers
• Involvement in campaign planning, execution, and reporting (not necessarily full ownership at senior level)
• Experience assisting with marketing calendars and seasonal campaign rollouts
• Familiar with digital platforms (Meta, Google basics, email marketing tools)
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
Skills and Attributes:
• Good understanding of brand building and customer experience principles
• Experience coordinating omni-channel marketing activity (digital + in-store + print)
• Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident in stakeholder engagement across internal teams (merchandising, VM, e-commerce, creative)
• Ability to compile briefs and support execution of marketing plans
• Basic experience with budget tracking and supplier coordination
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Hands-on, execution-focused marketer
• Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Proactive, energetic, and willing to take ownership of projects
• Good creative eye with commercial awareness
• Team player who collaborates well across departments
